Staying busy

It's been a while. Are you still here?

Today I repaired a couple doors. The weather was nice. I like working outside. It feels good to sweat and move the old muscles. Makes me tired, a good tired. Brings in a little money too.

I received an order for a case of honey. A repeat customer. He bought a case last year too. This year was it best honey harvest yet. I'm really proud to be able to say that I don't add any feed or pesticides to my hives. I let the bees do what bees do. People like to ask me if I made that honey. I usually say the bees did but I took it from them. It's good stuff. I hope you get the chance to taste it.

Sitting at home wishing I had some work really stinks. We were slow in the handyman business over the past couple of weeks. I find ways to stay busy and try to keep the cash flowing. But just sitting around waiting for the phone to ring isn't healthy. It can cause depression and makes your body stiff.

I rode my bike the other day. It was the first time in a long while. I pedaled fast and hard for about two miles. Hold on while I catch my breath. It reminds me to keep the body moving. Although it makes the muscles sore it makes me feel good.

Let's see if I have a good photo to share with you. Here's one. This is the honey table I set up for the homeschool group who visited my be yard last week.
